About Me

I am a Licensed Social Worker, and I have been supervised by Ashley since I was in my MSW program. Originally from Baltimore, I have lived in many different places and worked in several different fields. Yet, I have always felt drawn to listen to and help those around me. I started out my career as an industrial engineer, then pivoted to social work as I acknowledged and cultivated my authentic passion to help others. I provide therapy to individuals in young adulthood to older adult populations. I work with clients who have difficulty understanding themselves, others, and the world around them. I enjoy working with individuals who want to develop a healthier relationship with their mind, body, and others. While I work with a wide range of presenting concerns, some of my particular expertise and interest areas include: identity development and exploration, depression, anxiety, mindfulness, obsessions and compulsions, life transitions, stress management, trauma, and grief and loss. I recognize we all experience pain in different ways, and my goal of therapy is to create a safe space to share your unique story while collaboratively identifying ways to alleviate pain. I utilize a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to therapy. Modalities include DBT, CBT, exposure work, and mindfulness and meditation. I look forward to getting EMDR trained later this year.
